Who I Am

Marina De Tal

Born in Brazil, raised in Italy, now based in London. My path has moved through acting — with an amateur theatre company — and singing before arriving at sound and voice as a practice of their own.

More on this journey soon.

The Practitioner

Sound as a way back to the body.

I've spent the last several years studying handpan, ritual percussion, and the voice as instruments of return — not performance, but presence. My sessions are built slowly, layer by layer, using a loop station to let a single voice become a chorus, a single drum become a heartbeat the room can share.

Every session is different. What stays constant is the intention: to slow a room down until people remember what stillness feels like.

Earth — Grounding

Sound

Handpan, frame drums, and low synth drones built into slow, cyclical pieces — music made to be felt in the chest before it's heard.

I. Live handpan & percussion sessions
II. Ambient synth soundscapes for stillness
III. Group sound-bath ceremonies

Water — Flow

Voice

A single voice, layered live through a loop station into wordless, wandering harmonies — ethereal textures that move like breath through the room.

I. Live looped vocal ceremonies
II. Wordless meditative chant
III. Voice layered over handpan & percussion
